The Meathead Way

Nearly four years since launching the MoveToEndDV (MTEDV) movement, we are so proud of how far we have come. What started with a viral news article and a vision, has spiraled into a partnership with the leader in domestic violence prevention (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence) and an influx of businesses looking to change the terrible epidemic of domestic abuse.

Meathead Movers was founded on the principle of helping athletes accomplish the American dream, while also providing a superior moving service to its customers. The moving industry has a notoriously bad reputation, and it’s our mission to change the way that people perceive moving and storage companies.

Packing up and moving a long distance can be a stressful process, but it doesn’t have to be! Here at Meathead Movers, we are changing the way that long-distance moves are traditionally handled. We have heard the endless horror stories of long-distance moves that result in lost items, broken items, hidden charges and late arrivals.

We are proud to announce the grand opening of our professional-grade wine storage facility in San Luis Obispo. The 427-unit facility is a supplementary building to our already existing 92-locker wine storage facility that was first established in 2014 on South Higuera Street.

As we continue to ramp up our newest location in Bakersfield, California, our Meatheads spent the week filming two commercials for the local ABC and NBC stations. Our awesome athletes transformed into the ultimate actors to demonstrate what our Meatheads do best.

Last week, our co-founder Aaron Steed and I attended an event hosted by Interface Children & Family Services (ICFS) in Ventura County. As one of our nine domestic violence shelter partners throughout the state of California, we were thrilled to be included in the Wine, Whiskey & Chat.
