An arrow pointing to Ventura County on a map of California, with a Meathead Mover standing happily next to the state.Nestled between the sea and beautiful rolling hills, Ventura County is a beautiful county with a rich historical background filled with wonderful cultural and community events. We’re proud to have been providing moving services to Ventura County since 1997 and to have opened up our very own facility here in early 2007.

We move many people to the area and it’s not hard to see why. You can enjoy your days hiking any number of trails in the mountains surrounding Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley and still have time to catch a sunset stroll on any one of the area’s numerous beaches.

Speaking of beaches, the area is known for epic surfing. World famous Rincon is known as a great place to catch the perfect wave or bring a picnic and watch the show at Surfer’s Point. Ventura County hosts a variety of engaging annual events including the Point Magu Air Show, an incredible aeronautical display. This show is also an opportune time for one of the area’s largest employers, the Naval Air Warfare Center, to interact with the community. One of our favorite events is the Ventura County Fair, which is a wonderful family-friendly event that can be visited every August.

With total residents nearing the one million mark, Ventura is the 12th most populated county in California, yet still ranks sixth in the state with regards to income per capita. This statistic is helped by the many companies who call Ventura County home, from Amgen, the biotech giant to Boskovich Farms, whose giant farming operations are more in line with the county’s agrarian roots.

Whatever the reason for moving to, from, or within Ventura County, we’re here to support you along the way. Our services range from local movinglong-distance movingpacking and even on-site moving for rearranging your home/office or loading rental trucks. We know moving is stressful, but it’s our job to ease your transition.

We have been revolutionizing the moving industry since 1997. When you entrust your move to Meathead, you can rest assured that your move will be a success because our professionally trained student-athlete movers are the best movers the industry has to offer.

Local Residential Move in Simi Valley

Molly set up apt for July 9th she said not before nine am and no later than 4 pm I called 3:30 to let you know no one had called. You said oh they are running late traffic. They will call shortly I called again at 5 pm you said oh they will meet you at locker at 5:30 pm. On my way to meet 5:15 Alex called to say they were headed to your warehouse then. In Oxnard. NOWAY be there at 5:30. Then said 5:55. Driver said my locker closed at 6. So they were not coming. I called him back in 2 min to say they are open until 9 pm office closed at 6 Then told ok he will come then. I waited they arrived 6:12 pm. I was amazed at all the paperwork to be done before we could start l. That was part of my hour time. They moved my two pieces very professional with the handling and were polite . I’m most upset with the poor communication from office When you say no later than 4 pm thats not 6:12 pm. And I feel I had to do the calling and also I had to inform driver as to the hours open This was badly handled. It’s my first time with your service. Overbooking seems may be problem but I did book on july 7th. How DO you make this right ? A discount would be appreciated and if this were my company - I’d be embarrassed. If were my company and I mishandled I would give free of charge to show customer how important reputation is and that their possible repeat business was. So I guess that’s up to you.
