SAN LUIS OBISPO – A company on the Central Coast is being recognized by the White House.

Meathead Movers, which is based in San Luis Obispo, is one of only 100 companies that were named on the inaugural “Empact 100 List.”

It’s an elite list of young entrepreneurs that were selected by the Obama administration for their ability to inspire other young entrepreneurs.

They’re being recognized for their positive impact on the economy and the jobs they create.

The criteria to make it on to the Empact List includes being a U.S. entrepreneur age 30 or younger, annual revenues of more than $100,000, and jobs creation.
