KSBY: Meathead Movers Wrestling Club is Chosen as a Beneficiary

Nearly
a dozen local charities are set to get nice financial shots in
the arm come fall after being chosen as beneficiaries of this year’s
Central Coast Wine Classic.

The 29th Annual Wine Classic will be held from July 11th through
14th, in Avila Beach, Shell Beach and San Simeon. Net proceeds from the
event funds chosen non-profit corporations in San Luis Obispo and Santa
Barbara counties whose missions are in the Healing, Performing or Studio
Arts.

Over the past nine years the event has handed out grants of more than $2-million dollars to more than 100 such non-profits.

For
2013, the Wine Classic Foundation Board has chosen Meathead Movers
Wrestling Club from San Luis Obispo as one of the beneficiaries.

The
theme for 2013 is “A Celebration the Remarkable Wine and Cuisine of the
Central Coast of California and the Napa Valley,” with many of the
activities taking place in and around Avila Beach.
