FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN+TV Fresno) — A moving company new to the Fresno area has struck a deal to do some potentially life-saving work for abused women and children.
The Meathead Movers company moved into its Fresno office just last month. It’s a moving company staffed by college student-athletes — many of them from Fresno State and Fresno City College.
On Friday, the Marjoree Mason Center announced a deal in which the women’s shelter will use Meathead Movers to help relocate domestic violence victims.
The Marjaree Mason Center is Fresno County’s only dedicated provider of domestic violence shelter and support services. It serves more than 5-thousand women and children each year.
