Ventura County Star: Meatheads Sing to Raise Funds for United Way

After her surprise serenade, Laurie Eberst, the new CEO of St. John’s Medical Center posed with the team of Meathead Movers who sang to her as part of a fund raising effort for United Way.

To help raise funds for United Way, a team of Meathead Movers dressed in Santa Hats and sang a surprise serenade to Laurie Eberst, the new CEO of St. John’s Medical Center in Oxnard Dec. 16 during an employee holiday party.

For the month of December, Meathead Movers, in conjunction with their partnership with the United Women’s Leadership Council and United Way of Ventura County, sang Christmas carols to people within the county for a $100 donation to the United Women’s Leadership Council. All proceeds went towards closing the gaps in transitional services for emancipating foster youth.
