For one night only, employees of Meathead Movers will replace their uniforms with tuxedoes and moving boxes with martinis to benefit the United Womens Leadership Council, one of the newest initiatives of United Way.

Meathead Movers, in conjunction with Boccaccios restaurant, will host the first-ever Girls Night Out event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4 at Boccaccios located at 32123 Lindero Canyon Rd. in Westlake Village.

We are very excited to be involved in such a fun event to raise awareness surrounding the United Womens Leadership Council, said Amy Fonzo, United Ways Vice President of Resource Development. The focus of our group is to help empower foster youth to be self-sufficient and stable enough to function independently once they leave the foster care system. This event will help raise the funds necessary to help make that happen.

Girls Night Out will feature tapas prepared by Boccaccios, a no-host bar and auctions with Meatheads serving up all the food and fun. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 for two tickets. To RSVP, call (805) 485-6288, ext. 221 or go to www.vcunitedway.org and click on news and events.

Scott Patterson, Meathead Movers Branch Manager, said they are proud to work with the United Way to help raise money for such a meaningful local cause. Especially in these times, we feel it is important to find a way to give back to the community for those who need it most, he said.
