SLO City News: Girls’ Night Out Benefit for CASA

Meathead Movers in conjunction with Calago is putting on Girls’ Night Out on June 25.  The fundraiser will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates of San Luis Obispo.  The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. at 450 Marsh St. and includes surprises, food, drinks and Meatheads dressed in tuxedos providing the service.  Reservations for parties of two or more are $50 per person.  Proceeds will benefit the recruitment and training of CASA volunteers advocating for abused and neglected children in San Luis Obispo County.  For more information call Angela Allen at Meathead Movers, 544-6328.  Kappa Alpha Theta recently raised $11,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of SLO County during the sorority’s annual Shooting for the Stars benefit.  The event featured silent and live auctions and emcee Don Stark.  For more information, call 545-6542 or visit slocasa.org.
