A new moving company in town is giving athletes jobs and now helping victims of domestic violence.

CEO of Meathead Movers, Aaron Steed, was on Sunrise to talk about the addition of 85 more jobs for valley athletes and announce a new partnership he’s formed with the Marjoree Mason Center.

“We offer a unique job to the students athlete because we work around their school athletic schedule. They get paid to workout because they’re moving heavy things and when you’re not moving something you run to get more. They keep fit and they’re also a lot of leadership training,” said Steed.

Meathead Movers also recently teamed up with a local domestic violence center.

“We did our first job over the weekend.. Our pledge is to move victims of domestic violence out of their situations for free in partnership with the Marjoree mason Center,” said Steed.

They’ll also help victims on the back end when they’re ready to settle into a permanent location.

Headquartered in San Luis Obispo, this will be Meathead Movers fourth location in the state.

Its Central Valley location at 4744 N. El Capitan, Fresno.
