Zach DeVries, a native of San Luis Obispo County, has etched his name in the annals of Meathead lore as “one of the greatest Mentors of all time.” Zach’s journey at Meathead is a testament to his dedication and drive as he climbed the ranks from the grassroots level to eventually assume the esteemed position of Employee Development Manager in 2024.

Having started his career as a Meathead, immersing himself in the day-to-day operations, Zach embraced the challenge of becoming a Mentor, guiding, and inspiring his colleagues along the way. His relentless pursuit of excellence led him to seize the opportunity to become the Operations Manager of San Luis Obispo six years later, a role he embraced without hesitation. After two years of successfully steering the ship as the Operations Manager, Zach’s leadership qualities shone through again as he was promoted to Employee Development Manager for Operations. This elevation underscores his commitment to continuous improvement and ability to drive organizational growth through practical training and development initiatives.

Zach’s journey at Meathead began with a referral from his peers, but his passion for the company’s ethos and values truly captured his heart. He has become a revered figure among his colleagues, admired for his strength, motivation, eloquence, and rapid grasp of new concepts.
