Michael Ashmore serves as the Operations Manager at Meathead Movers’ Bakersfield branch, where he leads with a strong sense of purpose, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others grow. Originally from Ventura, CA, Michael moved to Bakersfield during his freshman year of high school, where he attended North High School and played basketball for over three years. Since then, Bakersfield has become home, a place where he has built a life and started a family of his own.

Michael’s professional journey with Meathead Movers began in 2020 after a brief stint in fast food at Panda Express. What started as a job to earn extra income and work alongside friends quickly evolved into a career path fueled by hard work and ambition. His early days in the field gave him a firsthand understanding of the company’s values and culture, and over time, he rose through the ranks, moving from Crew Coordinator to Branch Trainer, and ultimately earning the role of Operations Manager.

With excellent communication skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a talent for building personal connections, Michael is focused on fostering a supportive and efficient team environment. He’s especially excited to collaborate with other branches, learn from their successes, and integrate those strategies into his own operations to elevate the Bakersfield team.

Outside of work, Michael is deeply committed to his community. He finds fulfillment in supporting local causes, including donations to local shelters and aiding domestic violence cases, work he carries out alongside Meathead’s Team Service Manager. In his free time, Michael enjoys lifting, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with his family and friends. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he’s particularly passionate about football and basketball.

Michael is proud to lead the Bakersfield branch and looks forward to continued growth, both personally and professionally, as he helps drive the mission of Meathead Movers forward.
