Chris Thiele

Storage and Facilities Manager

Chris Thiele is the Facility Manager at Meathead Movers, originally from Lompoc, CA. He attended Allan Hancock College, focusing on general education before earning his degree in History from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

A lifelong athlete, Chris played varsity baseball and served as captain of the soccer team at Cabrillo High School, later continuing with college soccer where he was recognized as a scholar-athlete. His journey with Meathead Movers began over 13 years ago when he was recruited by a friend.

Starting as a mover, he quickly rose through the ranks—serving as a Mentor, Crew Coordinator, and eventually managing multiple branches, including Camarillo and Orange County, before returning to SLO. His previous experience also includes working in a shipping warehouse for Roxanne’s Birkenstocks.

Now as Facility Manager, Chris is excited to grow the Meathead Mini Storage brand and support operations through facility management. Known for his strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and excellent communication with clients and tenants, Chris brings a well-rounded skill set to his role.

He fell in love with the SLO area while attending college, drawn by the beautiful weather, beaches, and constant activity. Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, BBQing with friends, mountain biking, going to the beach, and just about anything outdoors.
