Andres Rios
Andres Rios (Andy) is the Operations Manager at the Meathead Movers Bakersfield branch. Originally from Visalia, CA, he attended Fresno City College, where he earned an associate degree in physical education, and San Jose State University, where he majored in Communications Studies. Andres has a background and passion for soccer, having played for Chowchilla High School, the Fresno City Men’s soccer team, and the San Jose State Men’s soccer team.
Andres’ journey to Meathead Movers is a testament to his dedication and adaptability. Prior to joining the company, his focus was on soccer, which he played at the collegiate level on a full-ride scholarship. However, a recommendation from close friends led him to a new path at Meathead Movers. Since then, he has made significant strides within the company, progressing from an athlete mover to Team Captain, Crew Coordinator, Operations Supervisor, and now Operations Manager.
Andres brings many valuable skills to his role, including openness, problem-solving, and strong organizational skills. He was inspired to work for Meathead Movers by the prospect of a well-paying job and has found great fulfillment in making lasting friendships and memories during his nearly five years with the company.
Andres is not just a manager, but a leader who is passionate about building strong relationships with his Ops Admin team and leading a group of individuals in Bakersfield. He is eager to take on new challenges both at work and in the community, always striving for growth and improvement. Outside of work, Andres enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan, particularly football and basketball.
