Zachary DeVries

Central Coast General Manager

Zach DeVries, a native of San Luis Obispo County, has etched his name in the annals of Meathead lore as “one of the greatest Mentors of all time.” Zach’s journey at Meathead is a testament to his dedication and drive as he climbed the ranks from the grassroots level to eventually assume the esteemed position of Employee Development Manager in 2024.

Having started his career as a Meathead, immersing himself in the day-to-day operations, Zach embraced the challenge of becoming a Mentor, guiding, and inspiring his colleagues along the way. His relentless pursuit of excellence led him to seize the opportunity to become the Operations Manager of San Luis Obispo six years later, a role he embraced without hesitation. After two years of successfully steering the ship as the Operations Manager, Zach’s leadership qualities shone through again as he was promoted to Employee Development Manager for Operations. This elevation underscores his commitment to continuous improvement and ability to drive organizational growth through practical training and development initiatives.

Zach’s journey at Meathead began with a referral from his peers, but his passion for the company’s ethos and values truly captured his heart. He has become a revered figure among his colleagues, admired for his strength, motivation, eloquence, and rapid grasp of new concepts. In his current role, Zach is instrumental in crafting innovative procedures and employee training programs to deliver our customers’ ultimate move-day experience.

Beyond the confines of his professional life, Zach finds solace and fulfillment in outdoor activities, CrossFit, and bodybuilding — embodying the essence of a true Meathead both in and out of the workplace.
Arnold Milligan

Arnold Milligan

Assistant General Manager

Arnold Milligan is Assistant General Manager at Meathead Movers’ Santa Maria branch. He grew up in Atascadero, CA, and attended Atascadero High School before continuing his education at Cuesta College, where he studied Computer Science. In high school, he found his passion in boxing and Muay Thai.

Arnold’s path to Santa Maria began in San Luis Obispo, where he started as a Dispatch Coordinator,  a role that eventually led him to his current position as Assistant General Manager. Along the way, he’s grown to love Santa Maria for its incredible food, welcoming people, and rich history. Before joining Meathead Movers, Arnold worked as an Associate at In-N-Out in Atascadero. What drew him to Meathead Movers was simple: getting paid to essentially work out sounded great, and he loved that the company offers free moves for domestic violence victims, helping bring clients peace of mind during one of the most stressful times of their lives.

He brings adaptability, accountability, and team leadership to the job. Looking ahead, Arnold is excited to make a real impact by building relationships throughout Santa Barbara County, furthering both his career at Meathead Movers and his personal growth along the way.

Outside of work, Arnold likes to work out and intends to get into bodybuilding. He also enjoys Muay Thai and hiking, and on his rest days likes playing electric guitar and spending time with friends and loved ones.

Michele P

Can’t say enough about Meathead movers and the job they did. Even when some items started to possibly take a wrong turn their team leader Isaiah was able to figure on the fly how to get past the issue and get things going to make moving a pleasant experience. Shout out also to a great crew who was friendly while working their tail off.

Chris Jackson Bakersfield

My experience was amazing with Eddie and Bryan! They were so respectful, courteous and efficient! These guys were jogging to my Pids unit after what seemed to be 100 loads. I’d use them again and again! Best movers EVER!!!! Please ask for Eddie & Bryan if you want the BEST!

Nikki Rae Hart Bakersfield

Wow! This was our first time using a moving service and it was the smoothest move we have ever had! We have moved over 15 times in our life and this was by far the easiest transition into a new home that we consider to have been a difficult move. The movers are strong and friendly! Super helpful and very professional. Would use this service again and highly encourage others to use this service too!

Barbara Poor Bakersfield

From my initial call to working with the movers throughout every step of my move, the entire experience was positive, professional, and reassuring.

Mark in the office was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy. During the move, Reuben and George were amazing! They were professional, incredibly efficient, friendly, thoughtful, and very mindful with my belongings. They worked quickly and efficiently without ever wasting time.

I have used many different moving companies over the years, and this was by far the best moving experience I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be hiring Reuben and George again for the second half of my move.

Completely worth it! I highly recommend Meathead Movers and My favorites! Reuben & George!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great team! Professional and great personalities!

Rebecca Rodriguez Central Valley

The movers called ahead of time to notify they were on the way. They were friendly and professional. All of our items were packed and load most efficiently. Since we were moving items to storage, they catered to our request of were certain items should be placed. Most grateful for that. It was a two man team and they were done ahead of schedule. Thank you Meathead Movers for the exceptional service.
