Local Residential Move in Corona

May 21, 2019

The move was originally scheduled for 5/18. I inquired later whether 5/20 or 5/21 might be available in case escrow slipped. The person receiving my "what if" question changed the date to 5/21 - which I think was really the downfall of the entire move. After seeing the new date the day before the move, I called and let the customer service rep know that it was wrong, and the 5/18 move was hastily thrown together. And by the way, a discount of ANY amount should have been offered for this snafu. You said you would get back to me whether you could actually complete the move - I ended up having to call because I was running out of time to make alternate arrangements. You asked me to flex the start time to 10:30 so you could keep my business, I agreed. I was the only one that "gave" to fix your mistake. Originally scheduled for 10:00, the first truck arrived at 10:30 - which we agreed upon. Annoying, but we agreed, no big deal. The second truck showed up at 11:21. You discounted 45 minutes. Fair enough, but good customer service would have been: a) don't be late when you've botched the scheduling to begin with, b) discount an hour. During the move, the team broke a glass shelf, broke our fountain, and missed MANY items on our inventory. What's the point of the inventory list anyway? It's basically ignored. "Is this going?" "what's the priority?" It would seem that someone to actually coordinate the move on the move day would make this process go much more smoothly. As far as making it right... refunding some amount seems appropriate.

Only 3 out of 4 showed up, not a lot of hustle, they forgot the wardrobe box bars so those were useless, and they did not use any floor coverings at my new residence.
