New Year’s resolutions of a Meathead Mover

As we enter a new decade, Team Meathead set some big New Year’s Resolutions for 2020. We are starting the new year with the highest starting wages in company history and the strongest team of employees that we’ve ever had. In order to maintain our standards and provide an exceptional experience for our customers, we are committed to the following:

Maintain our service pillars

In recent years, our service pillars have become the cornerstone of our company. Going into 2020, we will continue to live by these service pillars both on and off the job. We will maintain a positive attitude by remaining friendly, cheerful and empathetic. We will show interest by asking thoughtful questions and listening closely to our peers and customers. We will be accountable for our own actions. We will focus on our body language, maintain good posture and be presentable. And lastly, through persuasion, influence and expertise, we will provide customers with a sense of calm.

Serve our community

Giving back is an integral part of who we are, and every Meathead strives to support those in need. In 2019, we partnered with more than 100 nonprofits in the areas that we serve and in 2020, we hope to exceed that number through donated funds, time and labor.

We will continue to partner with our eight domestic violence shelters throughout Central and Southern California to provide no-cost moves to victims of DV, and we will support our local schools, athletic programs, healthcare organizations, children’s charities and more.

Work tirelessly toward our goals

Our founding principle is to support athletes working their way through college in pursuit of their own American dream. In 2020, we will keep this core value top-of-mind as we prepare our team of Movers, Packers, and Customer Service Representatives to succeed at their personal and professional goals. Whether we are promoting studying during down time at our onsite computer labs, or continuing training on life skills such as drafting a resume, we will push our team to be the best versions of themselves – all while providing a premium moving service to our customers.
