San Diego County Movers

Welcome to Meathead Movers of San Diego County!

What's not to love about San Diego County? We've move there if we could! San Diego County holds a special significance to Meathead Movers, because our CEO and co-founder, Aaron Steed, married his wife there in 2008 at the landmark US Grant Hotel. Between that and the many moves we do to and from San Diego, we have many great memories there. It's be hard not to: with a population that is larger than 20 American states, and one of the most perfect climates in the world, it's no wonder San Diego County has so much to offer: from the San Diego Zoo and Sea World to the handmade tortillas in Old Town, from the stately Del Mar Hotel on Coronado Island to the world-class surfing at Black's Beach, there is something for everyone!

San DiegoSan Diego's rich military history resonates with Meathead Movers in more ways than one. Firstly, because with 16 naval and military installations, it's a hotbed of moving activity in Oceanside and the surrounding towns. Unlike most movers, we are very cognizant of the stress associated with moving, and work our hardest to allay that stress instead of adding to it. Can you imagine how much more stressful a move is when sending a loved one overseas to risk his or her life? Accordingly, our military clients are true VIPs to us.

Additionally, Meathead Movers is proud to employ quite a few veterans, both as movers and at our corporate office. Our training programs are modeled after Army training programs, so it's a natural fit! We also love all the great colleges and universities in San Diego County. When you employ hundreds of student athletes, you really appreciate a county that makes higher education a priority. With UCSD, SDSU, CSU San Marcos, along with USD, Point Loma, and National University, San Diego County is teeming with college students and has that great energy that you get when you have some of the brightest minds in the country concentrated in one place. It's no wonder that San Diego is also home to the Scripps Research Institute, the Salk Institute and numerous other important research and conservation facilities.

Whether you are moving to a high rise in the Gaslamp District over looking Petco Park and looking forward to enjoying watching the Padres from your deck, or to the bluffs of Solana Beach or La Jolla, we're here to support you along the way. We know moving is stressful, but it's our job to ease your long distance move. If you are moving to San Diego County, we're here to help!

We have been revolutionizing the moving industry since 1997.  When you entrust your move to Meathead, you can rest assured that your move will be a success because our professionally trained student-athlete movers are the best movers the industry has to offer.

No Transport residential move in San Diego

DaVon and Marco (my movers) were prompt, courteous, worked extremely hard, and were all around solid guys. They made the experience with Meathead Movers top notch and definitely a service I will be using for all of my future moves.

Long Distance commercial move in San Diego

I loved how easy it was. Adam came to do the inventory before the move, very professional and easy to work with. Brett and Joe showed up on time, introduced themselves and set out moving all the boxes and furniture. It all seemed so easy and uncomplicated. Brett and Joe worked fast, but took great care with all our stuff. They delivered the load the next day in San Diego arrived on time and did unloaded all the stuff without any problems. I am never going to move anything myself again will call Meathead Movers instead. What a great experience. Thank you so much for making this so easy. Ingela SEIU Nurse Alliance of CA

Long Distance residential move in San Diego

The movers were prompt to the home site we were moving from. They were very efficient and very professional in their work and attitude. They had all of the appropriate paperwork ready to sign when they picked up our furniture and household items. A complete walk through was done after the truck was loaded to make sure all of the items were loaded for the move. The delivery to our new apartment in San Diego was on time as promised. The workers set everything in place as instructed before leaving back to SLO. Gread Job on their part.

Local residential move in San Diego

The movers were slow and unprofessional. They did not take direction, they did not treat my items with care. They used soaking wet pads on nearly all of my wooden furniture and padded chairs. There are irreparable water stains on many items. They were goofing off and I basically had to follow them around to make sure things got done. I had to unwrap all of the furniture pads and remove the tape and fold the pads and they didn't put my furniture in any of the right spots, even with specific direction from me. My husband and I were moving furniture the entire time they were unloading the truck trying to get things in the right spot. I called half way through and complained that the movers were just taking their sweet time and I was still charged the full amount. And at the end of the move one of the movers had the audacity to say "No tip today??" Needless to say, I was furious. They were a poor representation of the company. The first time I used Meathead I was extremely extremely impressed which is why I hired you for the second time but I did not get even close to equivalent service

On time and ready to go. Personable workers - loaded here in AG and delivered in San Diego ontime. Called to check in after delivery and setup. A little more expensive than competition but all well done.

The guys were really hard workers and very pleasant. The only criticism I have is that your service is more expensive than others. But I wanted to support your work with victims of domestic violence.
