Agoura Hills Patch: Meathead Movers Sponsors 28th Annual Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills

Runners and spectators from all over the world turned out for the 28th annual Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills Saturday. The event included two half marathons, a 10k and 5k and the Kids Mile. More than 400 community volunteers helped produce this year’s event.

For 28 years, the race has served the community, donating over $1.5 M to Agoura Hills and Oak Park elementary schools and high schools’ athletic programs. It also generates fitness awareness programs at Agoura Hills and Oak Park elementary schools, promoting student nutrition and exercise.

Sponsors this year are Dole Food Company, Northwestern Mutual, Neftin Westlake Volkswagen/Mazda, Road Runner Sports, Oak Park Dentistry for Children, Camp Kinneret, Los Angeles Sports & Fitness Magazine, the city of Agoura Hills, Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, Evolution Audio & Video, Clif Bar, Arrowhead Water, Endurance Bag Company, Great Harvest Bread Co., Meathead Movers, Waste Management, LAraces.com and many local businesses.
