Friendly easy to deal with moved quickly worked very hard

We could not have accomplished our move without Meathead Movers. We were very impressed by your efficiency, and your ability to be creative when game changers arose. Parking was a little distant, and being a condo on the 2nd floor were challenging. But the team of movers knocked it out of the park!!! Thank you so much. My brother was there for the move. The guys were professional and pleasant. They moved everything efficiently and smoothly. I also appreciated your flexibility when we had to change our move time.

From beginning to end, I was more than disappointed. The packers did not have enough boxes. The movers came 45 minutes late and with 2 men instead of 3. They were slow, unsure of themselves, and they kept saying that the Estimator, Hunter Baird, did not estimate correctly. At 7:30 P.M., after starting at 11:45 A.M., the Mentor, Josh, said he was not feeling well, and that another Mentor, Jaime, would be taking over. So, we waited a half hour until he showed up. At approximately 8:45 P.M., Jaime said we were done and ready to go to the Storage Unit I had rented to unpack my furniture/furnishings, all the while knowing that the Storage Unit would be closing at 10:00 P.M. I did a check of my home closets to find that one of the movers had put some things back in my closets and did not load them in the truck. In addition, there were several items on my patio that they were just leaving there. When I questioned Jaime about how the items got back in my closets, he said he had no idea but that he could not fit anything else in the truck. From that point, it only got worse! He disappeared for 10-15 minutes while talking on the phone, would not answer any of my questions, and he would not tell me what he was going to do with my stuff. I had to contact the police, as he was going to drive the truck out of my community without telling me where he was going. The police were able to assist, and Jaime took the truck to the Santa Ana warehouse, with the promise of calling me first thing in the morning to let me know when they would meet me at my Storage Unit. I slept on the floor of my 940 sq.ft., 2 bed/2 bath property that night. I was supposed to be out of the unit that day by 6:00 P.M., but fortunately my Buyers were very understanding. I had to call the warehouse in the morning around 9:30 A.M., since I had not heard from anyone. I could not reach the Operations Mgr. and so I called back again around 10:00 A.M. He told me that the crew would meet me at my Storage Unit with the truck around 1:00 P.M. and that he would call me before then to confirm. At 12:45 P.M., I called him to get an update, and he then said he never told me it would be 1:00 P.M. and that the crew had to take their lunch break for 45 minutes and now it would be between 2:30 and 3:00 P.M., but that he would call me when their break was done, when they reached the warehouse, and when they were on their way. At 2:30 P.M., I called him because I had not heard from him, and he said they would be leaving in about 5 minutes. I met them at the Storage Unit at approximately 3:10 P.M. When they opened the back of the truck (I have plenty of pictures as proof), my friend Judy and I witnessed my furniture and furnishings, literally, thrown into the truck. Of course, these 3 crew guys said they had never seen anything like it and that it is not how they would have done the packing. I just cried and could not believe anyone could be so cruel. What kind of people would do such a terrible thing. I am a 61 year old, single woman, who was moving from a 55+ community, and they obviously took terrible advantage of me. Needless to say, many of my items were damaged, as they were just thrown on top of one another and were not even wrapped or boxed. Despicable treatment from all of the workers, office employees, and even the General Manager, Angela. I don't know what kind of training these people receive, and the 3 crew guys told me the Santa Ana Branch has only been open for about a year and a half. YOU TELL ME HOW YOU CAN MAKE THINGS RIGHT!!!
