Long Distance Residential Move from El Cajon to Carpinteria

April 12, 2021

We appreciated the care with which the movers handled our items, their punctuality in loading some unloading, and the courtesy each of the team members showed to us. Overall everything was very well done with only two or three small exceptions where minor scratches occurred. Very pleased with every aspect of the move from the estimate done by De’Vonte to the loading and unloading, and ensuring that everything was placed properly reassembled properly and that the job was complete. Thank you for a good moving experience.

From receiving my move estimate to the actual move (loading and unloading), I received wonderful service. Sarah, Keith, and Hector were professional, skilled, and courteous. I will wholeheartedly recommend Meathead Movers to friends.

Long Distance Residential Move from San Luis Obispo to Carpinteria

I’ve used you for all my moves. This last move I was suppose to have three guys and you only dispatched two. It was a long distance Slo to Carpinteria and back to slo move and it made for a long day for all of us. The guys worked hard and it was hot that day.

Rauol and Jayle were very kind and helpful and quick. Moving is very sterssful and they were perfect. Jennifer, on the phone, laughed at all my bad jokes and listened to me cry .....What could be better than that? I thought the price was very fair. Definitely I will recommend Meathead Movers.

Local Residential Move from Carpinteria to Santa Barbara

I was so happy with everyone and they were courteous and efficient. Unfortunately I opened a box of some of my most precious items and five items were broken. One vase, three bowls and one plate. Someone must have dropped this box as every item was wrapped. It only takes one drop to me hugely disappointed. I know they did their best.

Local Residential Move from Carpinteria to Oxnard

Meathead Movers were super great. The only thing I didn't have to worry about were the movers. They take their mission statement to heart, every person I had contact. Their rates were reasonable. Very professional. Highly recommend them. Added bonus is the concierge service, free and extremely helpful. They even called after we were moved in to see if they could help us finding services in the area. I can't say enough good things about Meathead Movers.

Long Distance Residential Move from Carpinteria to Elk Grove

February 1, 2020

This is our second move with Meatheads. The first was great ,fast and efficient. And although that first move was local, the second was much was much farther north. We had a Meathead rep come first just like last time, Richard came and looked around and gave estimate of one truck and all fees, he did mention that we were close to max ,but I asked him if it was really going to need another truck, and he said we would probably make it work. When I signed docs for the start of the move I saw that the contract said I declined a second truck, but that is not my recollection.I asked Brent what that was about and he said thats the way the contract came to him. I have to say we have moved 9 or 10 times over the course of 35 years and this was the most stressful moves we have experienced. We counted on you employee experience to give us a good idea of the cost and scope of the job, I think I represented all the information to make that happen. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough room in the truck for everything,so Brent told us at 5:00 we had to choose what was more important to move, and that was the best that they could do. Now I will say that those five guys Did a great job. Richard gave us a timeline of 9 to 2. We did not get to leave Carpinteria until 6 because we had to get another storage unit to put all that we could not pack. Btw we also had a20 foot u haul as well to take art and some personal property and patio furniture and extra cushions. So From my point of view the estimate and timeline where way off. We are somewhat disappointed because the last move was so right on. Please let me know what you can do. Thanks for your consideration, Sandra Narozonick
