I was concerned about the price, and my representative, Callum, told me that it would absolutely be in the $500 range given the small number of pieces being transported. Imagine my surprise when I was given the grand total of $777.00 (the upper limit as per my contract) at the end of my move. I was grateful to be offered a $60 reduction of "valuation charge" bringing my grand total down to $717.00, but that is well above the "$500 range" that Callum assured me the total would fall. Trust me, when I do move later this year I'm definitely not going to consult Meathead for a quote, nor will I suggest them to anyone I know, unless I want them to be screwed like I was.

2nd guy didn't seem experienced, first guy surprised at size of desk but I gave dimensions when setting up move, they hit a rail twice, scraped hand rail several places. Office rep didn't mention I was to meet drivers at Goodwill nor that there was a 3% charge for using credit card. Once desk in truck second guy just pushed desk across bumpy floor possibly damaging small feet of desk. I wanted to give Goodwill a solid desk not one damaged. Years ago used Meathead and the movers were strong, efficient and didn't make me fill out 15 pages of holding Meathead not responsible for anything going wrong. Didn't appreciate having to initial paperwork a second time.

The guys from SLO were great. The Fresno crew was like from a different company. Larenzo a poor supervisor; guys stood around doing nothing; ignored what my wife was asking them to do and mocked her; in a hurry to get back to Fresno; damaged furniture, we will be putting in a claim. I explained all of the above to Fresno manager three days ago via phone and he was supposed to get back to me. Did not happen. I’m not going to go away and let this cluster go.
