Melissa at the Meathead Mini Storage Corporate Office sold us on the Ministorage Unit and she also sold us to utilize the Moving Service after your co. was recommended by Stephanie at Apple Farm. We were not pleased with the fact that only two movers showed up on April 20th. We operate a non-profit organization and utilize 27 foot trucks to load personal care items including Strouds linens, home decor, hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes, toys, and many donations distributed to veterans and children at our events www.knmf.org Doug spent most of the seven hours during the moving process placing tags on furniture and inaccurately documenting the Form 1190-S that we did not review until a few days ago because he caused us to delay our trip to San Luis Obispo from Manhattan Beach to 4 pm because of the slowness of the loading. All of our furniture is new and well maintained and none of our furniture has scratches as his notations on Form 1190-S indicate. He also does not listen to customers: 1) he was informed at arrival how the boxes were propertly labeled and marked to indicate what goes on the truck first and what goes on last - by not following instructions items that needed to be accessed during the storage period and items that needed to be taken Sunday April 21st by us while we are renting awaiting the bldg of our home were missed by the movers on Sunday. The result of this error is that we are without shoes with the exception of those we have on for a two month period; 2) He was provided with instructions by Melissa, Mary, and Shaun weeks prior to the move on how to disassemble the Cal King Sleep Nos bed and the importance of putting the caps on the air hoses that were placed on top of the bed with the written instructions on the day of the move. We informed him that the instructions were placed on the bed to ensure he followed the simple instructions prepared by Sleep numbers. The result, he did not listen to the customer or your Corporate staff and deflated the bed which Sleep Numbers advised in both the written instructions and the verbal instructions given to Doug by your staff and us. Additionally, the Form 1190-S does not account for the Toshiba TV and VCR/DVD Player or the Samsung TV and DVD Player. These four items need to be added to the list. When we move into our new home in late June 2013, we asked Melissa to assign local SLO Movers including the Lead Mover and not to assign Doug. It should be noted that Aaron is an outstanding worker, he listens, follows instructions and did most of the work on April 20th - we helped him by moving some of the first and second floor boxes with carts and helping him as much as we could. We tipped $100 on the contract and gave the movers $300 in pennies that we kept in boxes from decades of savings. Aaron earned his tip. On April 21st, both Dakota and Cassidy did outstanding work - the only problem they had was that the boxes we expected to be loaded first and those loaded last were not loaded in the order we requested with Doug.

I do find that members of the various teams all know each other, and this seems to help with making the customer service better than your typical mover. Every employee is friendly and seems to have helping their customer as a high priority. Everyone works with you in what ever ways you need.
