Simi Valley Movers
Simi Valley is world famous as the home of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. More than one million visitors have made the journey here to pay homage to The Great Communicator and marvel at the Air Force One Boeing 707 on display. Some of those visitors end up looking for Simi Valley movers so they can the place home.
 But Simi is much more…it’s home to nearly 125,000 citizens, many of whom commute to the greater Los Angeles area. If you’re new to Simi Valley, you’ll be glad to know that the climate is sublime, the people are hospitable and the lifestyle is quintessentially Southern California cool.
This area has had several names over the years. It was inhabited by Chumash natives a long as 12,000 years ago, and the name “Simi” is believed to derive from Shimiyi, that culture’s word for the ephemeral clouds that are endemic here. Later, Simi Valley was part of the Rancho San José de Nuestra Senora de Altagarcia y Simi Spanish Land Grant. Thankfully, after being called Simiopolis for a time, it was shortened and simplified to its present name.
In addition to the Reagan Library, Simi is home to two California Historic Landmarks: Rancho Simi was the headquarters of the Spanish Land Grant and is located within the Strathearn Historical Park and Museum. The other is more unusual. Grandma Prisbrey’s Bottle Village is a fantastic example of 1950s folk art. Built by Tressa Prisbrey, it’s a fanciful assemblage of recycled and reclaimed materials. Although not currently open to the public and in danger of disintegration, a dedicated group of volunteers is fighting to raise funds for its salvation.
Recreational opportunities abound. The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District operates two fine golf courses; the Ted Robinson-designed Simi Hills and the 9-hole par-3 Sinaloa courses. There are miles of hiking and biking trails nearby and horse aficionados will love Arroyo Simi and Coyote Hills Equestrian Centers.

I would highly promote using Meathead Movers. From making the initial phone contact with the company, the estimator who came to my home on time and the movers who worked so hard, every one was professional and friendly, helpful and hard working. They made a very stressful day so much easier. It was a pleasure to use them and i will call them for any future move I make. I was so impressed with them!

Mike was very pleasant, and the guys worked very hard. Unfortunately, they are only students and not trained professionals...therefore, there were walls and floors left with damage. We will not be making a claim as we have a very good landlord who has decided it's not worth the time and effort and that he will have his contractor fix everything since they have some things they need to take care of anyway....
